What's a "goya"?

Goya is one of the most famous Okinawan vegetables in Japan. The rough surface of goya is green, but its content is white and sometimes red. We do not eat goya very much, which has red content. We usually fry goya with tofu and pork, and then we can taste a little bitter. The fried dish is called goya-chample. Most of Japanese except people in Okinawa think that all Okinawan people like the dish, but some of them hate it. However, people who love goya eat it raw, deep fried and pickled. You may be able to like goya if you try eating it in several ways.

My Room

Today, I will tell you about my room. The room is in the inner part of my house after a corridor and I share it with my brother. When you look in our room, you will find a vertical row of our two desks which face the right wall of the room. There are a three-way mirror and a wardrobe on the opposite side of them. Our room is in a mess because we do not care about our room. There is a heap of my clothes on and a lot of his sheets of paper. But we cleaned our room the other day so we can study on our desks comfortably now. We discussed the plan for redecorating our room. Since he seemed dreadful that the mirror which may reflect someone strange is at his back, it may be put by his desk.
